OUR STORY
An “Accidental” Studio with a Deliberate Purpose
TL;DR: Taylor Web Design began as a way to help, not a way to sell. That client-first focus remains our core today.
Taylor Web Design Studio was born during the early days of COVID-19 pandemic as a volunteer initiative to help nonprofits and small businesses navigate an overnight shift to digital. The transition from volunteering to a professional practice happened almost on its own, driven by a growing list of clients who needed a partner they could trust.
Over time, I realized clients saw the strongest results when their website, visual identity, and search foundations worked together cohesively—rather than being treated as disconnected tasks.
That realization shaped how I work today: creating websites that feel simple and intuitive on the surface because every element underneath has been intentionally aligned.
I founded the studio in Toronto and relocated to Vancouver after two years in business. While I’m now based on the West Coast, I continue working closely with clients in both cities—and across North America.

More personally, I care deeply about creating ease—whether that’s helping clients feel less overwhelmed during the process, creating moments of clarity, or designing experiences that feel genuinely enjoyable to use.
